Ability Beyond Barriers

Ability Beyond Barriers (formerly known as Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs) is a nonprofit founded in Horry County in 1984. Its mandate is to provide service and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and head and spinal injuries. It does this through Day Program services, Job Coach services, Residential and Case Management services with Residential sites all over Horry County with Day Program/Admin offices in Conway and Loris. Services are available and provided after an individual is determined eligible under guidelines managed by the SC Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
