Coastal Carolina University (CCU) is a public university in Conway, SC. Coastal Carolina offers bachelor’s degrees in 73 fields of study, and among CCU’s 20 graduate level programs, 17 are master’s degrees, two are educational specialist degrees, and one is a Ph.D. in marine science. Horry Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two-year community/technical college that offers more than 80 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs. HGTC’s mission is to provide accessible, affordable, high-quality, comprehensive two-year collegiate education and workforce development through traditional and distance learning methods. Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics

Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, Horry County

The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) offers hands-on learning to students through AST degree programs in Aviation Technology and diploma/certificate programs in Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT). The AMT program prepares students for the FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification Exams. PIA is a not-for-profit organization led by a board of directors. The school believes its programs must develop specific career-related skills, broaden abilities in essential academic areas, and form attitudinal traits compatible with career goals.

Galen College of Nursing (Galen) is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctorate degrees. Galen also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
