Marlboro Development Team and MBREDC Developing 100,000 Square Foot Class A Speculative Industrial Facility in Horry County, South Carolina

Marlboro Development Team, Inc. (MDT) has commenced design and construction of a new 100,000 square foot Class A industrial speculative development in the Ascott Valley Industrial Park in Horry County. Scheduled for delivery in Q3 2024 and located on a +/- 10-acre site within the park, the facility is designed to accommodate modern manufacturing and logistics requirements and includes tilt-wall concrete construction, 13 dock doors, 200’ truck court depths, 32’6” clear height, 50’ x 54’ column spacing with a 60’ x 54’ speed bay, and expansion capability to 150,000 square feet.
The building is located at the intersection of the Conway Bypass (S.C Highway 22) and U.S. Highway 701. Ascott Valley Industrial Park, developed by Santee Cooper and the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation (MBREDC), consists of 120 acres and is now fully occupied. The significant interest in this park is a testament to the economic viability of the region and significant efforts made by MBREDC in recruiting new and expanding industry. |

Last year’s PODS data revealed that Americans had a sweet spot for southern states — and this year’s data shows us that the draw to these warm states is still there. Conway Medical Center receives $45K grant to help with mobile outreach

Conway Medical Center was gifted $45,000 from The Leon Levine Foundation for the third year in a row to help support mobile outreach programs, according to a release.
“Accessible healthcare is extremely important for our community,” said CMC President and CEO Brian Argo. “We are so grateful to TLLF for their ongoing support and generosity. This is the third year TLLF has awarded a grant that will help ensure CMC can continue to provide lifesaving services out in the community.”
