Water & Sewer 

Grand Strand Water & Sewer Authority provides contractual services to six of the county’s municipal water and sewer utilities and two public water companies. Fresh water flows from the Intracoastal Waterway, providing Horry County residents and businesses with reliable, high-quality water and sewer services. Horry Telephone Cooperative (HTC) is the country’s largest telecommunications cooperative and the 18th largest telephone company. HTC plays a pivotal role in drawing new businesses to Horry County by deploying vital telecommunication infrastructure.
