The Grand Strand area was hit hard by Hurricane Matthew and many of our neighbors and friends continue to be impacted by the storm damage as well as resulting flooding. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approved Horry County for Individual Assistance, which can include money for temporary rental assistance and essential home repairs for primary homes, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property loses and other programs to help survivors recover from the effects of the disaster.

Hurricane Matthew Relief Fund – The funds collected for the “Help the Grand Strand” disaster recovery fund will be used for human services that are currently unmet, enabling the residents of Horry & Georgetown Counties to recover as quickly as possible.
